Ian first began announcing for the UFV Cascades over 5 years ago and has since expanded to announcing multiple sports from the amateur to professional level. He uses his public speaking acumen, performance background and love of sport to bring the perfect gameday experience to fans, coaches and players alike. His work has taken him to many opportunities including the BCHL, FIVB, PJHL, USPORT, CCAA and more. He currently is attending BCIT to further build his knowledge in the radio and announcing industry to continue mastering his craft.
When not out announcing in an arena or sports field, Ian can usually be found streaming games with his friends, playing basketball with the Creekside Crushers or taking in the outdoors via a picturesque hike or an off-road adventure in his 1999 Jeep TJ. Ian was a Scout for 13 years and that experience was crucial to the development of his leadership abilities, passion for volunteering and dedication to community building.
